A FAN'S REBUTTAL TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS IN TORONTO'S PAPERS

Hello there.  Just wanted to add my two cents worth on the two reviews from the local rags here in Toronto.  These two guys are not fans and constantly write cynical and sarcastic pieces.   I've seen many great shows here that had terrible reviews from these clowns.  I think they fancy themselves as some downtown sophisticates who are above the sentiments that come from people that have devoted much time to their craft.

I was at the show in Barrie and it was great, I got right off on it.  Great sound, crowd right into it and a beautiful night.

The attendance had more to do with the fact it was a Sunday night and an hours drive out of Toronto. Also the promotion of the event no doubt effected things.   The next day I listened to many people call into radio stations talking about the show, most were at a loss for words about what they experienced.  All very positive.

Please do not let these clowns from the newspapers form anybody's opinion on what went down here or the quality of the fans. They speak only for themselves and their little paycheques.

Thanks for the forum and I will be going back to see The Doors on the upcoming tour!
