Wednesday, December 18 through Thursday, December 26, 2002 ~~  Ray Manzarek makes a brief appearance in a movie called "Venice:  Lost & Found" to be shown at Laemmle's Monica 4-Plex in Santa Monica (31/394-9741).  It is a documentary, giving a tour of the area's 60s psychedelic highlights.  (thanks, Mark F.)

Tuesday, September 3, 2002 ~~  The Doors* will play a live afternoon performance from an undisclosed location in L.A.   When this show was scheduled for August 28th, it was going to be recorded for later broadcast on Jim Ladd's show on 95.5 KLOS.     8/25 2:00 a.m.:  I saw Jim Ladd last night at Tom Petty / Jackson Browne concert and asked him about the broadcast.  He indicated that at this time, it did NOT look like it would be broadcast.   If this changes, I'll update it here.  8/26/02  10:15 p.m.:   Jim Ladd and KLOS announce that Jim Ladd's Living Room on Wednesday, September 4th  at 10:00 p.m., WILL play back The Doors* private show.    Tickets will not be for sale;  listen to 95.5 KLOS to win tickets.  See September 4th for more information.
