Veterans of the 1960s, celebrated
poet and writer Aram Saroyan and legendary Doors drummer
John Densmore collaborate in this original blending of
poetry and music, voice, and percussion. Densmore performs on percussion
instruments from around the world, as Saroyan draws on his entire body of
work, from his controversial minimalist one-word poem "lighght," which
ignited an NEA furor that has yet to abate, to his later longer poems. Followed by a Q & A with the performers. |
