Bright Midnight Records will release The Doors show recorded at the House of Blues last Tuesday, September 3rd, according to Danny Sugerman.
Danny spoke to John Densmore before that show. John said if he could be rehearsing with the band, he would.
He has doctor's orders not to play loud or live for three to six months. He is being fit for a hearing device which would cut down up to 70% of the volume and feed him the mix from the sound board.
Stewart Copeland has John's blessings until he's ready to play. Robby and Ray didn't want to wait any longer, so they started without John.
There's no mystery, no resentments -- John was on the VH-1 show. What changed since then? The tinnitus he got from that specific show. The rehearsals now are twice as loud as that was. That's why he hasn't been to rehearsals.
Besides, John knows the songs already. The rehearsals are for Stewart's and Ian's benefit.
