I especially appreciate the contributions and links, show announcements and show reviews, stories, photos and miscellaneous. I will presume that what you have sent is okay to be shared with other fans on this site, and will thank you (first name only). If it is for my eyes only, then you must clearly indicate that.
Because of the volume of correspondence I receive through the website, I need to clarify some points and to ask for a few courtesies in return.
I do not open e-mails with an empty subject line or an unfamiliar topic, especially if I don't recognize the sender's e-mail address. If you want me to open and read your message, put a sensible Doors reference in the subject line.
I do NOT work for The Doors, Manzarek-Krieger, Tribaljazz, or any band members individually. This is an independent website run by me, in my spare time, as a very time-consuming hobby. Life's too short. Please don't waste my time.
I do not provide personal e-mail or snail mail addresses or phone numbers of band members, band management, or their associates. Also, I will not forward messages to them on your behalf.
I cannot / will not, get you backstage passes, band introductions, or items autographed for you.
I am not affiliated with any of the message boards or forums, do not participate in them, and cannot answer you about why a board is down or off-line.
If there is no current or upcoming tour info on the home page, then I DO NOT have it ... so don't ask. However, feel free to e-mail me with info that I am missing.
Please do not ask me to notify you personally about upcoming shows in your area or other band intel. Ain't gonna happen. This means YOU.
I do not promote or post info about Doors tribute bands unless it also involves Ray, Robby or John. I appreciate what they do, but there are too many of them and life's too short ... so I focus only on the real deal.
I do not list memorabilia or concert tickets that fans want to sell. There are other websites for that.
Sorry, but I am not interested in listening to your MP3's, or seeing YouTube videos of you or your friends singing Doors songs or reading Morrison's poetry. Unless Ray, Robby or John are involved in the project, please keep them to yourself.
I try to answer every e-mail I get, IF a reply is expected. If you do not get a reply within a few days, it is because you asked about something that I covered above, or asked for information which was already on my home page when you wrote to me.
